Our Services
-
For adults, this approach involves one-on-one therapy, just you and your therapist. You work with your therapist to determine what you want to work on, what approach to take, and how frequently to meet.
For adolescents 16-18 years of age, level of involvement of the parents/family is determined based on presenting issue and goals, and developmental/maturity level. Your therapist will work with you to set clear expectations and boundaries in this regard, so that everyone is on the same page.
-
Multiple clients working together with the guidance of a therapist or therapists who lead/co-lead the group experience. There are different types of therapy groups (e.g., open versus closed, skills-based versus process oriented or support groups). Group therapy offers additional social support compared to individual therapy, and at a lower cost.
-
Individuals who are in a relationship work together with a therapist to either:
1) Help an identified client in the relationship with partner-assisted therapy (e.g., one partner has depression and the couple is looking for support in navigating the depression within the relationship), or
2) Address problems and needs of all people involved in the relationship with regards to the relationship dynamics for the purpose of improving or healing the relationship.
-
Psychological assessment or evaluation involves a thorough, structured clinical interview with consideration for other applicable sources of data (e.g., self-report, testing, collateral information/interviews/documentation) in order to address a pre-established question or goal. Please note Orchid & Stone does not provide custody evaluations.
-
Adult family members/systems (e.g., siblings, parents/adult children, extended family members) who work with a therapist to either:
1) Help an identified client in the family with family-assisted therapy (e.g., one member of the family has bipolar disorder and the family wants support in navigating this within the context of the family dynamic), or
2) Address problems and needs of all people involved in the family system with regards to the relationship dynamics for the purpose of improving or healing the relationship(s).

Consultation, speaking engagements, and seminars are offered on a variety of topics, available for schools, businesses, and other groups or organizations.
